Vashon Lacrosse Club to host free skills clinics for new & returning youth players

Register today for your son grades 3-6 to learn the ABCs of lacrosse or refresh his skills at a Varsity player lead clinic to be held Saturday, December 17 at the high school gym. Adult coaches and Lacrosse Club parents will be on site to answer your questions about participating in the Vashon Lacrosse Club program.

Sixteen Vashon Wrestlers traveled to Quincy, Washington on July 5th for a three day camp across the mountains. The camp is titled Steven Vashon's Most Interesting Wrestling Camp in the World.   All wrestlers camped out at the Wild Horse Campground and wrestled in a potato barn

Vashon Island has a history of sport and athleticism, from the founding of K2 Skis and involvement in early hydroplane development to being the home of an annual 10k and 5k run, two triathlons (road and Xterra), and the annual Dock to Dock Half Marathon. The Island presents a great environment for many outdoor activities, from open water swimming to horse back riding.

The Vashon Island Junior Crew team recently competed at the Northwest Junior Regional Championship regatta in Vancouver, Washington where the team entered 16 races, qualified for the final in 15 of them, medaled in 12, and qualified 4 boats for the U.S. Junior National Championships
