Yet Another Night On Broadway

This past June, Yet Another Night On Broadway, was staged by a group of Island performers. A ‘command performance’ - Yet Another Night On Broadway Redux - will be presented, by way of DVD, Tuesday, Oct 22, at Vashon Theatre, thanks to the Theatre’s GreenTech community donation program. The show is free and all are welcomed to experience the verve, vitality, and joy that comes from great Broadway show tunes lovingly performed.
 
The show’s cast of 22 will relive their glory, while sharing an evening of delightful entertainment with their Island friends and families. The is a special treat for confirmed romantics and lovers of the classic and rousing Broadway show tradition. Such songs as "Bring Him Home", "Somewhere", "Angel of Music", and "One Day More", are sung as solos, duets, and ensembles, as well as all-cast extravaganzas. The show, a benefit for an Island nonprofit providing home and hospice care to HIV orphans in Ethiopia, features music from such renowned musicals as Camelot, West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera, Gigi, Anything Goes, The Music Man, Company, The Sound of Music, and Monty Python’s Spamalot. The entire second half is comprised of eleven great songs from the internationally-famous Les Miserable.Tish Lopez directed, with Musical Director Marita Ericksen, Choreographer/Stage Manager Pam Hotchkiss, and Costumer Betsy Frazee.Bring a joyful heart and join our 22 local singers in exhilarating song on October 22 at 6pm at Vashon Theatre.
