Vashon Chamber Music Finale

April’s rousing Vashon Chamber Music Series season finale, Sunday, April 28, 3 pm. At Vashon United Methodist Church, features Mendelssohn’s glorious octet for 4 violins, 2 violas and 2 cellos. Performers include Artur Girsky, Natasha Bazhanov, Steve Bryant and Victoria Parker, violin, Heather Bentley and Sue Jane Bryant, viola with Douglas Davis and Rowena Hammill on cello.
 
Special guest, Seattle Symphony Principal Flutist Demarre McGill performs a Mozart flute quartet followed with romantic nocturne quintets by Arthur Foote and Alberto Ginastera’s South American flavored works performed by members of Mendelssohn String Ensemble.
