UMO: Box Set

New vignettes by Vashon Island based physical theatre ensemble UMO.
 
Since 1987, UMO Ensemble has transformed ideas into performance and visual art, blurred lines between imagination and reality and manifested their own brand of surreal physical theatre. Much of their repertoire was first seen at the Blue Heron before travelling over the water to bigger venues and greater heights. Vashon is lucky to lay claim on the ever-evolving troupe who now brings yet another new work to light, via VAA’s New Works Series 2013.
 
Box Set revisits the Ensemble’s street theatre roots, explores vocal work and introduces the ‘new’ UMO.
