Murgatroyd, born in 2008 as the illegitimate love child of long time Vashon Island musicians, became the opportunity to give the people something they haven’t had in a long time…the true origins of what "Big" Rock is all about.

Built on a musical repertoire from the heavy hitters of stadium rock, Murgatroyd presents a show that is the very essence of live rock music… loud, sexy, excessive and bordering on the obscene.

Relive the music of UFO, Montrose, Early Van Halen, Black Sabbath and more. Every show is big, loud, and in your face bombastic as the music used to be. No excuses, no apologies; Big Rock is here to stay, and Murgatroyd will happily ride the wrecking ball into your occasion or event.
