"You’ve Got to FEEL it", Kissing Potion brings funk & soul to life, with a full horn section that brings new meaning to the phrase "FUNK YOU!", and a rhythm section whose groove will move you from your soul down to your toes!
 
Though they now call Seattle home, the five ladies and four gentlemen of Kissing Potion hail from all over the U.S. The natives of the Deep South, the Midwest, Philly, Jersey, the Bronx, and Seattle spent their weekend nights in their hometowns’ clubs and juke joints, then spent their Sunday mornings in the church pews praying for forgiveness. Experiences such as these helped construct a vast and diverse set of harmonic & lyrical influences. Their musical foundations are firmly built on a deeply-held admiration for the styles upon which the group’s members were raised – 60’s & 70’s soul, funk, R&B, jazz, blues, and gospel
 
Friday, June 7 at 9pm. This is an all-ages show ‘til 11pm, then 21+ after that.
