Attention all Performing Artists

Vashon resident performing artists are invited to apply for Vashon Allied Arts’ New Works Series 2013, and join a long tradition of innovative New Works performances.VAA New Works Series was established in 1989, as a creative opportunity for Island artists to present new work.

Artists from all disciplines-music, dance, literary, theatre or multi-media are invited to debut new work and/or new collaborations between January and November, 2013. Application forms are available at VAA and VashonAlliedArts.org. Deadline is Saturday, September 29, 2012, 5 p.m.

An inter-disciplinary panel of Island performing artists will meet in October to review and select recipients. New Works Series performances have spawned many memorable performances in a variety of performance disciplines. Join the ranks of New Works Series alumni!
