Voice of Vashon’s “Guest Bartender” The Hardware Store

Voice of Vashon, specifically their board of directors, are teaming with the Hardware Store to present a very unique fundraiser on Thursday, October 25th.  Melinda Sontgerath has said nothing like this has ever been attempted at her beloved restaurant.  And, this event will be a first for Voice of Vashon.   

On Thursday evening, October 25th, you can follow the flashing yellow emergency “thirst beacon” into our iconic Vashon restaurant and enjoy the first-ever “Guest Bartender” night.  Once inside, the folks from Voice will be taking orders, serving, and, perhaps most dangerously, even mixing some of your drink orders.

And all to benefit the island radio and community access media services that provide both vital storm and emergency information as well as music and video content. Much needed equipment upgrades, a new, ultra user friendly, interactive website and expanded emergency services are made possible by your generosity and support.

At the “Guest Bartender” party,  you’ll have a great time visiting with your Voice of Vashon friends and personalities all evening: Request a tune or two from our music & announce booth…maybe find yourself on camera as we capture the event for our Community Access Channel 21.  Thanks to Melinda’s generous partnership, a portion of the “Guest Bartender” sales will benefit Voice of Vashon. 

When it comes to providing Vashon Island round-the-clock emergency and entertainment services, at Voice of Vashon, we’re looking to raise the bar. “Guest Bartenders”. At the Hardware Store, Thursday night, October 25th starting at 6:00PM.
