VIPP Hosts the Annual Dog Walk and Membership Drive

Saturday, September 7 from 9 am to noon is the perfect time to have a fun outing with your dog, visit with friends and neighbors (canine and otherwise) and support a good cause. Vashon Island Pet Protectors will host its annual Dog Walk to highlight the importance of providing care and support for all dogs on Vashon. Participants and their people can register at the entrance to Burton Acres Park (across from Jensen Point). There is no cost to participate but donations to VIPP are encouraged.
 
VIPP will also launch its new membership program, and there will be special prizes for new members and those who increase their membership to a new level. Treats for pets and humans will be in abundance and there will be other prizes as well. If you don’t have a dog, come anyway! There will be lots of canine licks to go around!
