Vashon Island Pet Protectors presents the 13th Annual Fur Ball™ Auction

We invite you to join supporters and friends at Vashon Island Pet Protectors’ biggest fundraising event of the year – The Fur Ball™!!  This year’s theme is The Wildest Fur Ball Ever. In true pet-lover fashion, some auction guests embrace the theme and arrive dressed for the occasion, wearing costumes and decorating tables to reflect their interpretation of the theme. Others sport their favorite Vashon attire. Will it be a “jungle” or will Marlon Brando impersonators arrive on their rebel motorcycles? It truly is one of Vashon’s most celebratory fundraising parties of the year with more than 250 guests turning out to support one of our island’s oldest and most beloved non-profits.

 Guests will be delighted with the assortment of items up for bid at this year’s auction – fantastic trips to far-off destinations, original art commissioned just for pet enthusiasts, unique treasures from island businesses, hand-crafted jewelry and furniture, gourmet dinner parties, custom pet products, and even a day trip to the mountains of eastern Washington with pack llamas leading a hike!

 The Wildest Fur Ball Ever will feature a Silent and Live auction along with a few surprises! Renowned auctioneer Laura Michalek returns to lead the event with the support of Geoff Fletcher, our Master of Ceremonies and VIPP Board President. Dinner service features the wonderful flavors of Herban Feast, and many refreshment options will be on hand as well – a Wine Bar sponsored by Palouse Winery, a Beer Bar sponsored by Cliff’s Beer, and even a cocktail made to order by Seattle Distilling Co. And of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without a scrumptious Dessert Dash!

 The Wildest Fur Ball Ever will be held at Open Space for Arts & Community on Saturday, November 14, 2015 beginning at 5:00 PM. Dinner is included in the ticket price of $50 per person. Tickets are available now at Pandora’s Box and Vashon Bookshop, or online at www.vipp.ejoinme.org/furball.
