Vashon Intuitive Arts Hosts a Summer Kirtan on Vashon

Jonathan Burgess and Tim Hulley will co-lead this Kirtan, along with talented and enthusiastic friends, including Scott Wurtz on tabla (Indian drums) and Solana Chavez on response vocals.
 
 Kirtan (in case you haven’t heard of it) is call-and-response singing that celebrates the spiritual nature within each of us. It is joyful, meditative, and restorative, often resulting in feelings of well being and a quieter mind. The songs are either Sanskrit mantras or from various spiritual traditions, but no prior experience is needed, and all ages are welcome.  Come join us in celebration of Summer!
