Vashon Goes Wild Wild West - YEE HAW!

The Vashon Maury Cooperative Preschool (Co-op) invites islanders to a Wild Wild West fundraising auction on April 27st at 6pm at The O Space. The auction, a beloved event on the island, raises nearly 40% of the school’s budget, enabling the organization to keep tuition affordable and offer scholarships to families in need.
This year’s 14th annual Co-op auction will be at the O Space with entertainment for toe tapping and grub to get lips smacking. The saloon will offer Cliff’s beer, wine, and a signature cocktail featuring Vashon’s own Rocket Vodka. While saying howdy to all their partners, guests will enjoy a fabulous shopping experience, choosing from terrific items including a scuba and snorkeling resort trip in beautiful Roatan, a farm-to-table dinner at The Jesus Barn Farm, a Seattle stay-cation, and lots more! With Co-op Dad and Vashon all-star performer Craig Sutherland as host, the evening is guaranteed to be blast for all the generous guests who come out to show their support for the Co-op.
Tickets are $30, available at The Vashon Bookshop and Brown Paper Tickets.
The Co-op is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has been part of the Vashon community since 1970. Over the years, thousands of families have benefited from the Co-op’s unique approach of educating both children and parents.

The Vashon Maury Cooperative is doing a good job by helping needy people and I think this type of organization should be opened all over the world.
