Harbor School has invited a number of off-island high schools, as well as Vashon High School, to meet with prospective families on our campus the evening of Tuesday, October 2, from 6 - 8 PM.
This event is primarily for current 8th graders and 7th graders who wish to explore all of their high school options. These schools will have their own open house events, but we’re hoping to make this easier on Vashon students by bringing them together on island. All island students are welcome.
Schools represented (as of 9/21): Vashon High School, Annie Wright School, Bellarmine Preparatory, the Northwest School, and Charles Wright Academy. In addition, Harbor School will have materials available from other area schools that are unable to send a representative (SAMI, Aviation and Tacoma School of the Arts, to name a few).
Harbor School will be following up later this fall with another secondary school event—a Student Roundtable where our current students can speak to Harbor School alumni who are attending these and other schools. The date for the Student Roundtable event will be announced in the coming weeks.
