Creative Tea for Hestia Retreat

We’d like the women of Vashon/Maury to help us design Hestia Retreat, a sanctuary for women. Lend your creativity by sharing what you’d love Hestia to look like, and what programs you’d like to see offered there. Come learn more about this exciting retreat center, and meet the women who are bringing the vision to life.

Join us, November 30, for tea, snacks and sharing about this women’s retreat center being planned for Vashon/Maury Islands. To make it easier for mothers to participate, childcare will be provided on-site.

There will be opportunities to help design the physical appearance and feel of the place, which is being planned to provide a beautiful, serene, and nurturing environment for women to restore and recharge. In addition to solitude for personal retreats, Hestia will offer workshops and other gatherings for community and education. You will be asked for suggestions as to what workshop leaders and topics you’d most like to see offered on the Islands, as plans are refined.

Two sessions will be held, Tuesday, November 30, 2011 at Cohousing Common House, 10421 SW Bank Road. The first session is 2pm - 3:30pm A second session will be help 5pm - 6:30pm. Childcare provided
